Pretty hard to say much new when I just updated last night, but it’s a bit slow here today and I have to look busy...

I'm rediscovering a lot of classic literature lately which pleases me in that librarian geek sort of way.
How’s this:
“If we had a keen vision and feeling of all ordinary human life, it would be like hearing the grass grow and the squirrel’s heart bet, and we should die of that roar which lies on the other side of silence.”

Thanks you George Eliot. One of the coolest , old-school girls that ever existed.

Other than that, what’s there to say? The burn is still healing but the way it’s looking this morning I think it’s pretty safe to say that it’s gonna leave a scar. Maybe I’ll get lucky and it’ll just take a few years to fade like the one on my knee from the escalator (long story and an even better testament to how stupid I can be. )

Oh yes, and I’m going to the “Taste for a Change” Oxfam ball tomorrow night. Looks like an amazing event...
