It's so hard sometimes watching someone you care about struggle and know there's nothing you can do to help them but stand back and let them know that when and if they need you, there you'll be.
I'm so proud of her for standing up for herself and being her own person. It's been too long since she's done things for herself and her bravery to ground herself and assert herself.
She's a gem, that girl.
